Kathy Carpenter, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

Kathy Carpenter is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has been with Edinburgh since the beginning. Kathy works behind the scenes managing the hospital inventory and also works part-time performing technician duties. Kathy and her husband, Scott, have a Boxer, Allie, and 3 geriatric pets (a mixed breed dog, Tory, and cats, Sprite and Tugger). In her spare time she enjoys going for family walks, reading, and volunteering at her daughter’s school. 

Rhonda Noetzelman, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

Rhonda Noetzelman became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1993 and shortly after that started working at Edinburgh. Along with daily technician duties, Rhonda manages our Radiology department. Rhonda is the proud mom of two dogs, Marco, a Pekingese and Lazlo, a Border Collie, as well as one cat, Halo. 

Diane Paulus, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

Diane Paulus joined the Edinburgh team in 1998 but she has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 1992. Along with her daily technical duties, Diane is in charge of our laboratory. Diane’s hobbies include biking, hiking, swimming and reading. Diane will read just about anything around, with her favorite books being in John Sanford’s Prey Series.

Betsy Elvester, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

Betsy is our newest Certified Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Ridgewater College in 2007 and really enjoys the surgery side of her technical duties. She finds working with owners and their new puppies as they grow up very rewarding as well as helping our sick patients recover and return with wagging tails. She has four dogs-Charlie-a Pointer/Boxer mix who is an amputee; Blitz-a Boxer; Chester-another Boxer and Koda-a Husky. All of them are very good snugglers and love racing around the yard. She enjoys reading, baking, cooking, gardening and going to the zoo with her daughter.

Corrie Barrows, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician, Office Manager

Corrie Barrows is a Certified Veterinary Technician and the office manager at Edinburgh Pet Health Center. Corrie has been with our hospital since it opened in 1991. Corrie’s husband, John, named their Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Hugo, after a character in the movie Moonraker.  Corrie and Hugo have earned numerous titles in Flyball, their favorite dog sport. Corrie believes pet owners are simply the best people to be around so she even spends her free time teaching classes and volunteering at the Twin Cities Obedience Training Club. 

Cory A.

Receptionist

Cory A. has been our receptionist since 1998. Before working at Edinburgh Pet Health Center, Cory owned a dog grooming business for twelve years. Cory has a Bedlington Terrier named Stanley.

Christina Yang

Veterinary Assistant

Christina is our new veterinary assistant. She will be attending North Hennepin Community College this fall and is hoping to study biology and zoology to prepare for a career in the veterinary profession. She has two dogs, KC and Tiny, and one cat named Akita. She enjoys a wide variety of activities including drawing, design, sewing, sports and interacting and playing with her pets.

Keirsten Boettcher

Veterinary Assistant

Keirsten is our new veterinary assistant and is attending Argosy University to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She is scheduled to graduate in December 2018. She has three cats-Ombre, Mocha, Junior and a dog, Kali. She enjoys reading, walking Kali and snuggling with her pets.

Stephanie Prokop

Veterinary Assistant

Stephanie is our newest veterinary assistant. She has always had a passion for animals and is learning if a career in animal care is for her. She enjoys helping our patients leave feeling better. She has a Cockapoo named Ozzy who enjoys cuddling, dog parks and going for bike rides. She also has four pet rats-Brier, Tria, Queen and Stew that she trains to do tricks. She also enjoys photography, painting, sewing and writing.
