Kathy Carpenter, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

Kathy Carpenter is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has been with Edinburgh since the beginning. Kathy works behind the scenes managing the hospital inventory and also works part-time performing technician duties. Kathy and her husband, Scott, have a Boxer, Allie, and 3 geriatric pets (a mixed breed dog, Tory, and cats, Sprite and Tugger). In her spare time she enjoys going for family walks, reading, and volunteering at her daughter’s school. 

Rhonda Noetzelman, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

Rhonda Noetzelman became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1993 and shortly after that started working at Edinburgh. Along with daily technician duties, Rhonda manages our Radiology department. Rhonda is the proud mom of two dogs, Marco, a Pekingnese and Lazlo, a Border Collie, as well as one cat, Halo. 

Diane Paulus, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

Diane Paulus joined the Edinburgh team in 1998 but she has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 1992. Along with her daily technical duties, Diane is in charge of our laboratory. Diane’s hobbies include biking, hiking, swimming and reading. Diane will read just about anything around, with her favorite books being in John Sanford’s Prey Series.

Kandy Akervik, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

Kandy is a Certified Veterinary Technician who first came to us 9 years ago as a veterinary assistant. She continued her love for animals studying Veterinary Technology at Ridgewater College and graduated in 2012. She has worked in different areas within the veterinary field and has found her way back to small animal practice. Kandy has a miniature Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier mix named Jagger and two cats-Kovu and Loki. In her spare time she likes to read, listen to music, go fishing with her boyfriend and go on motorcycle rides.

Corrie Barrows, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician, Office Manager

Corrie Barrows is a Certified Veterinary Technician and the office manager at Edinburgh Pet Health Center. Corrie has been with our hospital since it opened in 1991. Corrie’s husband, John, named their Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Hugo, after a charactor in the movie Moonraker.  Corrie and Hugo have earned numerous titles in Flyball, their favorite dog sport. Corrie believes pet owners are simply the best people to be around so she even spends her free time teaching classes and volunteering at the Twin Cities Obedience Training Club. 

Cory A.

Receptionist

Cory A. has been our receptionist since 1998. Before working at Edinburgh Pet Health Center, Cory owned a dog grooming business for twelve years. Cory has a Bedlington Terrier named Stanley.

Tayler Matlock

Veterinary Assistant

Taler came to EPHC seeking to refine her animal handling skills. She is an Army veteran and a Law Enforcement student who aspires to go into animal cruelty prevention and investigation on her future career path. Talyler is compassionate and loves nurturing our clinic patients with her kind demeanor. She has a cat named Tucker who is the household insect exterminator extraordinaire, and another cat named Duncan, a purebred Siamese who loves to be babied. Both of her cats walk on harnesses in her apartment courtyard and sit for treats on command. During her free time, she enjoys running and rollerblading with her husband, Chase. 

Christina Yang

Veterinary Assistant

Christina is our new veterinary assistant. She will be attending North Hennepin Community College this fall and is hoping to study biology and zoology to prepare for a career in the veterinary profession. She has two dogs, KC and Tiny, and one cat named Akita. She enjoys a wide variety of activities including drawing, design, sewing, sports and interacting and playing with her pets.

Keirsten Boettcher

Veterinary Assistant

Keirsten is our new veterinary assistant and is attending Argosy University to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She is scheduled to graduate in December 2018. She has three cats-Ombre, Mocha, Junior and a dog, Kali. She enjoys reading, walking Kali and snuggling with her pets.
