Kathy Carpenter, CVTCertified Veterinary TechnicianKathy Carpenter is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has been with Edinburgh since the beginning. Kathy works behind the scenes managing the hospital inventory. Kathy and her husband, Scott, have a mixed breed dog named Tory and two cats, Sprite and Tugger. Kathy spends her days taking care of her young daughter, Samantha and in her spare time she enjoys going for family walks, reading and solving sudoku puzzles. |

Jessica Jeurissen, CVTCertified Veterinary TechnicianJessica Jeurissen studied veterinary technology at Ridgewater College where her favorite subject was laboratory procedures. Jessica is in charge of our surgical and dental suites. She is a true Minnesotan who enjoys snowmobiling, skiing, fishing and swimming. She shares her love of the outdoors with her ninety-pound labrador lap dog, Roscoe P. Coletrane. |

Lynsy Van Drasek, CVTCertified Veterinary TechnicianLynsy Van Drasek started her career at Edinburgh in 2002 as a veterinary assistant. She has since attended Argosy University and has made the transition to become our newest certified veterinary technician. Lynsy and her husband, Chris have two cats, Stephanie and Precious and one energetic Lab-mix named Eden. In her spare time, Lynsy likes to travel, try new foods and relax with her hubby. |

Rhonda Noetzelman, CVTCertified Veterinary TechnicianRhonda Noetzelman became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1993 and shortly after that started working at Edinburgh. Along with daily technician duties, Rhonda manages our Radiology department. Rhonda is the proud mom of two Pekingese, Sparrow and Marco, a Yorkie/Collie Mix named Rolo, and two cats, Halo and Calypso. Rhonda is a very crafty person and likes most crafts (painting, knitting, glass work, etc.). Besides crafts she enjoys training her dogs in obedience and flyball and she loves to read. |

Diane Paulus, CVTCertified Veterinary TechnicianDiane Paulus joined the Edinburgh team in 1998 but she has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 1992. Along with her daily technical duties, Diane is in charge of our laboratory. Diane’s two cats Teddie, an orange tabby cat, and Malibu a solid black cat, had it easy for years until recently when Diane brought home a new puppy. Clover is an adorable Australian shepherd and cattle dog mix. Diane’s hobbies include biking, hiking, swimming and reading. Diane will read just about anything around, with her favorite books being in John Sanford’s Prey Series. |

Corrie Barrows, CVTCertified Veterinary Technician, Office ManagerCorrie Barrows is a Certified Veterinary Technician and the office manager at Edinburgh Pet Health Center. Corrie has been with our hospital since it opened in 1991. Corrie and her husband, John, have a house full of furry friends including three cats: Nicholas, Vincent Vega and Emmitt Smith, a Yellow Lab named Beef and Indiana Jones, an English Setter. Corrie and Beef have earned numerous titles in the dog sport of Flyball. Corrie teaches classes and volunteers for various activities at the Twin Cities Obedience Training Club. Corrie’s other big pastime is fantasy football. She has been the commissioner of her league for over fifteen years. |

Kandy AkervikVeterinary AssistantKandy’s love for animals drew her to the role of veterinary assistant. She looks forward to meeting new patients and learning new things every afternoon she is working. Kandy’s favorite subject at Champlin Park High school is American Sign Language and she also likes dance and soccer. Kandy has two dogs. Koda is a miniature smooth-coated Dachshund and Patches is a terrier and Toy Poodle mix. |

Lynn GroteVeterinary AssistantLynn Grote is Edinburgh’s morning veterinary assistant. She came to us with a lot of practical knowledge about dog training and handling, as she has spent many hours volunteering at the Animal Humane Society. Lynn and her shepherd-collie, Rusty, are a certified therapy team. They visit the Ronald McDonald House and go to libraries where children can read to them. Lynn’s other dogs are Molly, a Shepherd-Samoyed and KC, a Westie mix. She also has two cats, Ringo and Bingo. |

Mandie MattsonVeterinary AssistantMandie Mattson became a veterinary assistant because she knew it would offer her many new and exciting learning experiences that she couldn’t get working a typical after-school job. Mandie’s Maine Coon cat is named Oliver but he has so many nicknames that he’ll come to just about anything you call him. Her Bombay cat, Shadow, likes to play fetch. Mandie enjoys reading and writing her own short stories so it’s no surprise that her favorite subject at Park Center Senior High is English. |

Cory A.Veterinary ReceptionistCory A. has been our receptionist since 1998. Before working at Edinburgh Pet Health Center, Cory owned a dog grooming business for twelve years. Cory has two dogs. Oliver is a one-of-a-kind mixed breed dog (he looks like a Dalmatian and terrier cross) and his sidekick, Stanley, is a Bedlington Terrier. |
